PAUL - LONDON EATERIES.

On Tuesday, I took a trip down to Trafalgar Square on a secret mission, (a successful one I must add) and while exploring the area before taking the hour long trip back to Essex, I came across this neat little bakery while on the lookout for something sweet to try.

I had never had a Paris Brest before, sadly because I never really go past the realm of croissants and muffins unless it's a special occasion, or I'm feeling fancy. Looking to celebrate on Tuesday, I
walked around the area looking for a Patisserie Valerie or something to satisfy my craving for something Parisian - fast. PAUL caught my eye as I was crossing the road to head into Boots for some makeup items, and thought I would just have a look in there for ideas as to what to have...

HOW TO STABILIZE MILK FOR FOAMY COFFEE.

Hey All - This is a pretty simple one, so I'm going to get right to it...

STILL SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE.

MUSIC FAVOURITES

July was a interesting month.

Over here in England, we've had a couple of heatwaves that completely reduced - those who were here to bare it - to spending less and less time in the sun and more time lying on the floor at home (heat rises) and using what miniscule slivers of energy we had left to hydrate with the coldest of beer, water and juice. So as you can imagine for me - this month's been pretty chill..

...And because of the relaxed nature of this month - so have my music choices.

WHAT MAKES YOU AN ADULT?

Haha, if the title sounded slightly accusational I assure you it isn't, it's a question I'm asking generally..

Over the past few years, I longed and longed to turn 18. Naivety led me to believe that once I was of age, everything would be different - I wouldn't need to live at home, I'd be treated completely different by adults and more respected (yet feared) by children - a literal separation of the "men from the boys". I also thought somehow I'd have more money, and that age would allow me to be a lot more independent.

Change. For years and years I wanted change.

VEGAN BANANA CAKE SMOOTHIE

Salivating (sorry) over the idea of a banana-nut muffin to accompany my morning coffee, with the aid of my Nutri-Bullet and overripe fruit, I ended up creating something that mirrors the taste, texture and look of a banana cake batter but is pretty healthy - and pretty vegan. Actually it's completely  healthy and completely vegan. Not sharing the recipe with you as soon as I possibly could felt like a sin, so I'm typing while I sip *slurp*..
