TORTILLA - LONDON EATERIES.

Hungry after having a meeting in the area, I looked earnestly around Trafalgar Square for something to "fill my belly". After walking around for a good five minutes (which feels like an hour if you're really hungry), I walked into TORTILLA, where I was greeted by the loveliest members of staff and was served immediately.

The setup is very much like Subway, where you can assemble your own burrito or taco with the help of a member of staff, have it pretty simple, or fully loaded, with varying prices depending on what you opt for.

I decided to go for a medium burrito, with herby rice, black beans, shredded beef, cheddar cheese, guacamole and Pico de gallo... Which came to £6.40.

....Umm, to be as nice as I possibly can... the burrito was just a bunch of textures. It honestly lacked a lot of flavour. I wish I had had the option to salt everything before she wrapped it up and sent me on my way (the guacamole didn't even taste like it was made with avocados!). I honestly feel I wasted my money, and that's a rarity when it comes to food and I - especially since I was so hungry.

It was disappointing - I guess I'll stick to making my own burritos from now on.

Happy Sunday,

Christina x
