I hope you all are enjoying your summer - it's been so hot, hasn't it?! As I've been getting back into old habits, I've also been really enjoying some old tunes alongside it - as well as some new releases. I'm always making playlists on Spotify/Apple Music, so I thought I'd throw one together of some of my favourite songs to listen to of recent. Butterflies, 4EVER and Love It If We Made It have been on very heaaaavy rotation. They're not really ordered with any rhyme or reason haha, so feel free to listen to them in parts, or all together...
The Race Is On.
Sunday, 22 July 2018
So after finally receiving my results, the countdown begins to graduation - and I'm really motivated to look my best. This is the first time in my academic career that I've actually managed to pull it out the bag and do quite well - and that calls for celebration. I've found my dress, I'm still on the hunt for my shoes, and I'm yet to order my gown and hat (haha, priorities). This is the last hurrah, the final goodbye, and the beginning for adulthood for most, so of recent, I've been determined to look and feel my best - so for me that means goodbye to the uni student diet, and hello to early morning runs with my Fitbit.

The Humble Mug Cake.
Saturday, 31 March 2018
Sure to tame that sudden sweet craving, I give you my recipe for the perfect mug cake.
In case you're unaware, a mug cake is simply a cake made in a mug, cooked by a microwave. The idea is you can have a sweet treat that needn't take a lot of work or a lot of ingredients, and it's a singular serving - meaning you don't feel so bad since it's portion controlled. This recipe has been tried and tested in my uni household, been passed to many a friend and I'm yet to receive a complaint - so it's without a doubt good enough to post on here...

It's Bittersweet.
Monday, 26 March 2018
It's been a crazy last few weeks. Between dissertation meetings, seeing the boy and travelling home, it's been increasingly hard to keep up with everything. But I also love it all. Uni's ending soon and this is it for me. This is the last hurdle. So despite having a dissertation and two assignments all due in three weeks, I'm unexpectantly calm. Well, sort of.

The Magic, and the Sadness, of New Year's Eve.
Sunday, 14 January 2018
Right now, I'm at home in Essex, dressed in a pyjama top and my boyfriend's jogging bottoms, half-heartedly attempting to write my literature review, for my dissertation... but I can't help but feel deflated... and I'm sure I'm not alone.
It's the January blues, and I think the end of last year is to blame.
